Cathy joined C.M. Smith Agency in 2007 after almost 10 years of experience in Human Resources. Her background as a human resource generalist began at the University of Hartford where she held several positions including Assistant Director. She moved on to join the human resources team at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center as a Benefits Specialist until she moved to Scottsdale Arizona and worked for Troon Golf as the Director of Benefits and Compensation.
In her role as Director of Client Services with C.M. Smith, Cathy is responsible for all aspects of managing the Service and Financial teams. This includes overseeing the RFP and renewal processes, managing the installation of new vendors, promoting wellness initiatives and establishing and supporting continuous improvement, best practices and innovations across our service model to best serve our clients.
Cathy is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Management. She has her CT Life and Health license.
