C.M. Smith conducts frequent bids for our clients. We structure our RFPs to obtain the best possible terms for our clients, and create a fair playing field for the vendors to bid. We pay particular attention to the changing nature of the benefits marketplace to make sure that our RFPs demand the finest in pricing and service commitments from the vendors.

For ancillary lines of coverage, such as group life and disability, our market surveys are often able to obtain two or three year rate guarantees for our clients.

For self-funded customers, we aggressively negotiate fixed fees and other overhead charges and often secure multi-year caps on expenses.

Our job is to bring the best of the market to each of our clients. We work hard throughout the year to monitor new vendor initiatives in order to bring the most cutting edge solutions to our clients.
